Finding his love of the kitchen at the age of 14 in a NYC pizza joint, then spending a year studying the craft at The International Culinary Institute of NY, Hany Fadda has never wanted to do anything else. He's spent the following years traveling all over the world, honing his career as a professional chef.


While gaining his further qualification at the California Culinary Academy, he spent the summers traveling back to the Mediterranean and the Middle East, absorbing influences of the different cultures of his heritage.

This exotic flair comes through naturally in the dishes he creates, allowing diners to experience what they would normally travel the world for.

His work has taken him from the luxurious kitchens of private yachts, to the vast machines that are cruise ship galleys, from well known restaurants in California, to exclusive golf clubs. Since that stint in the high pressure pizza kitchen, he's never wanted to do anything else. 

Now landing in beautiful San Juan Capistrano and heading the kitchen at Tannin's  Restaurant & Bar and  he's enjoying bringing his style, flair and passion to the cuisine experience.

And the best is yet to come.
